![]() ![]() So I'm definitely would like to rename the transfers list item to "SuperSerial - Season3". ![]() ![]() The former ("Season3") is meaningless without knowing parent folders, the latter is not good enough (long, overloaded with special symbols, etc). Then the item in the transfers list could get the renamed title or original one. I download torrent "SuperSerial_-_Season_3.TVrip.torrent", rename it's root folder to "Season3" and place it to ~/SuperSerial/. :)įor example, here it is my common usage case for downloading TV-series. Generally speaking, we need this because a tree structure on disk have to map to the linear list of torrents. What this means is that you may use categories in the application to categorize torrents on the hard drive. Advanced Saving Management on the other hand uses the file path and a category path if a category is associated with a torrent. Thanks a LOT for working on this.īut additionally to the file renaming ability, qBittorrent should have a complement feature to rename torrents in the transfers list regardless of the file/folder name on disk. Simply Saving Management or manual mode associates the file path with the torrent in qBittorrent and that is it. Surprisingly, no one native Linux torrent client fully implements it. Ability to easily rename files is a killer feature for me.
